SpringerLink eBook Collection
In order to enhance the library resources available to the university community and support the teaching, learning, and research activities, the library would like to inform you that a new subscription was set up for an E-Books database from Springer, the world's largest book publisher.
SpringerLink eBook Collection is a comprehensive central database covers a wide spectrum of subject disciplines in Science, technology and medicine (STM). Our subscription includes the following content types that published in the period 2005 – 2008;
· eBooks
· eBook Series
· eReference Works
SpringerLink eBook Collection includes the following Subject Categories;
Architecture, Design & Arts
Behavioral Sciences
Biomedical & Life Sciences
Business & Economics
Chemistry & Material Science
Computer Science
Earth & Environmental Sciences
Engineering
Humanities, Social Sciences & Law
Mathematics & Statistics
Medicine
Physics & Astronomy
Scientists and researchers can search the full-text of a massive collection of information resources either by using the “Basic Search” or the “Advanced Search”, where the search can be limited within the subscribed resources.
Furthermore, users can specify from the beginning, the desired content type, subject, or publication year, and continue the search within the results.
Please note that because of the integration of all Springerlink Collection, the Basic (default) search, will search all database content (online journals, ebooks, ereferences, …etc.). Although, the results will include many items which are not accessible or viewable, users may benefit from the abstract and the information which will be retrieved.
SpringerLink eBooks are accessible through myuos Portal, Library Page – Search Category – UOS e-Books.

The library would like to inform you that a new subscription was finalized for McGraw-Hill Access Pharmacy Database.
McGraw-Hill Access Pharmacy is a comprehensive online content solution for the changing demands of pharmacy education. It allows students to select a core curriculum topic, browse by organ system, review textbooks, or search across leading pharmacy online references.
To help develop key skills, integrated case studies, care plans, self-assessment, and NAPLEX review provide critical feedback for students and teachers.
