Our subscription includes the Dentistry Periodicals, back to 1998, and accessible through the following link.

New Medical Databases
The library would like to inform you that an access for new medical databases was activated, as follows;
E-Books Portal from WHO / EMRO which includes 1343 book titles covering 9 broad subjects of health and biomedical sciences literature.The E-Books can be browsed and searched through the following link;
http://library.emro.who.int
User name and passwords can be obtained from the medical library
Please note that the access to the e-Books Portal is only authorized to UOS faculty, therefore, the access details should not be given to non-authorized individuls, in order to avoid access de-activation.
images.MD : The Online Encyclopedia of Medical Images
http://images.md/ImagesMD compiles over 70,000 high quality images. Athens : Remote Access Tool
In order to enhance the off-campus access to the subscribed online resources, the libraries Department acquired “Athens”, an access management tool, allows remote access to the resources hosted on the library homepage.
Athens provider, distributed an automatically generated User Names and Passwords, to all Faculty and Postgraduates e-mail accounts.
You are kindly advised to try the access, even if you are on-campus, by using the following access details;

Enter the User name and Password, received through Athens E-mail
